About Regina Wittenberg-Moerman

Regina Wittenberg-Moerman specializes in debt contracting and trading, banking, information asymmetry, financial reporting quality, disclosure and developing economies. She has held positions at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. She is now at The Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.

Wittenberg-Moerman is the recipient of numerous fellowships and awards, including the Best Paper Prize by the Journal of Accounting and Economics in 2008, Ernest R. Wish Accounting Research Award from Chicago Booth in 2011, PhD Mentoring Award from The Marshall School of Business in 2021, and Dean’s Award for Research Excellence from the Marshall School of Business in 2019 and 2023.
